The UK’s construction industry is one of the largest employers, with a workforce of almost 3 million people.

It’s also a very high-risk industry, with workers often being exposed to a range of hazards whilst on the job. Despite recent improvements in reducing the amount of injuries, construction accounts for a high percentage of fatal and major injuries. It’s clearly essential that construction businesses and employers provide their employees with proper medical and risk assessments.

At FOHCUS occupational health, we offer all drivers’ assessments to ensure that your employees meet the DVLA standards for fitness to drive. The assessments can be carried out either at your work premises, if there is a need for a group of employees to be assessed, or at our consulting rooms in Lancaster and Liverpool.
