Musculoskeletal (MSK) disorders can include back pain, neck or arm strains, and diseases of the joints.

Many people working in a variety of industries have a bad back, stiff shoulders, or achy knees, and MSK is one of the most common reasons for sickness absence in the NHS. In 2022/2023, over 6.6 million workdays were lost because of musculoskeletal disorders, and on average, each person suffering took 13.9 days off work.
