Noise (hearing / audiology)

If your staff work in an environment where the noise is higher than 85db (the equivalent of a hairdryer, a subway train or a lawnmower!) then legally it’s your responsibility to conduct regular hearing tests to ensure you have the right protections in place.

We offer Audiometry surveillance for any number of employees. They take between 20 and 30 minutes and include a questionnaire, a thorough ear examination, referral to a specialist medical consultant if necessary, and a report for managers which meets Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements.

As a leading provider of occupational health services, FOHCUS’ dedicated clinical teams will work with you to ensure that onsite visits run smoothly. We can also support once the checks are complete when it comes to communicating the results of audiometry tests to employees.
